Filmmaker Colin Trevorrow will direct the film and Steven Spielberg will serve as producer.

First two sequel of “Jurassic Park” films were directed by Spielberg and the third segment was directed by Joe Johnston helmed the director “Captain America”.

The dinosaur franchise has grossed $1.9 billion at the box office worldwide since the first film was released in 1993.

Trevorrow violently deprived that this was “a paycheck gig” for him, or “the movie that I’m making so I can make the movies that I really want to make.” He says that he really wants to make “a kick-ass Jurassic Park movie,” and wants to make a film that even appeals to casual fans who don’t even believe there needs to be another Park film.

Trevorrow says that they have a new Dino for the story who is bad ass … but he wouldn’t give up details. At the same time, he requested fans to avoid spoilers, because he says, “Don’t believe everything you read. There are ways more insiders on the internet than there are in real life.” The sequel of “Jurassic Park” will flap in 3-D on June 12, 2015.
