Our observant gossip colleague CJ, the gossip reporter for theMinneapolis Star Tribune, took a close look at our recent photo of RobertDowney Jr and declared “Either he has issues with his feet OR he’s wearing elevator sneakers!” She is absolutely RIGHT – those whitesneakers COULD be nurse’s shoes, but most likely the 5’8” actor is augmenting his height. At first Downey hesitated to play Iron Manbecause of his diminutive size, but inches were added inside his character’s boots. Maybe Robert got to like that extra boost and carried it into his private life…
