“I would have really liked to kiss Anushka more (in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil). She’s a damn good kisser. Somebody is lucky,” said Ranbir Kapoor in the Rapid Fire round of his Bollywood Hungama exclusive video interview recently. He was asked to choose between Aishwarya and Anushka as to who’s a better kisser. He replied that he hadn’t kissed Aishwarya in the film.
Ranbir won the Rapid Fire round on the basis of that answer in itself since he was candid and honest. “He should be penalised for that answer,” Anushka said laughingly. The theatrical trailer of Bombay Velvet had some really hot kisses between Ranbir and Anushka which were almost entirely diluted on the Censor table and you don’t get to see the actual impact. Having seen the original theatrical trailer of Bombay Velvet, if the original kisses were retained, they would have given more credence to the passionate physical love that Ranbir’s character had for Anushka in the film. The Box Office fate of the film could have been different in that case.
