We had reported earlier that Kangana Ranaut was filming for Hansal Mehta’s next directorial venture Simran in Atlanta. After shooting for over a month, the cast and crew of Simran have wrapped up the Atlanta schedule.

Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel informed the wrap up news with a crew photo where Kangana was seen sporting her look from the film. Now, the cast and crew will head to Las Vegas to begin the second schedule. As reported earlier, Kangana will be playing the role of Prafull Patel who is a 30-year old divorcee. The story will focus on the issues faced by people after divorce.

Recently, Kangana spoke to a daily sharing her experience on working with filmmaker Hansal Mehta. She praised Hansal and called him as one of the most incredible and genuine talents we have in the industry today. She liked Manoj Bajpayee starrer Aligarh and said that it was by far the best film India had seen in last 10 years. She further added that apart from being talented, Hansal is also a wonderful person. Talking about Hansal’s different style of direction, she said that after Anurag Basu he is one director who does not give the actor or actress a full-fledged script in hand. He won’t give the dialogues. Every day is a new day with him. He leaves it to the environment to inspire him, to his surroundings to tell him what scene he should shoot. He is a person who lives life with a lot of consciousness. She calls herself a huge fan of him.

Apart from Simran, Kangana Ranaut will also be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s film Rangoon which also stars Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
