A month ago, we had announced that filmmaker Tony D’Souza is planning to rope in the fresh pair of Shruti Haasan and Rajkummar Rao for his production, a rom-com titled Behen Hogi Teri. Now we hear that the film is all set to go on floor in North India.
The female lead of the film, Shruti Haasan took to Instagram to share the news with co-star Rajkummar Rao. Not only did she post a picture with him but the duo also made an adorable kitty snapchat video on social media for the same. “Lucknow and movies ! @rajkummar_rao #workmode #fun #bht,” the actress posted.
Behen Hogi Teri apparently revolves around the life of a bachelor who is afraid of women calling him their ‘brother’. Directed by debutant Ajay Panwala, the film went on floor this month in Lucknow and will be shot in a start-to-end schedule until February. The film is also said to star Shakti Kapoor, Gautam Gulati and Rajesh Sharma among others and will be co-produced by Nitin Upadhayay along with Tony. It is slated to release in June next year.
