Vir Das might be taking a back seat with Hindi films but is doing exceptionally well for himself in the Indian comedy space. The actor and comedian has become the first ever Indian standup comic to have his own one hour Netflix special.

Now, one more feather to his cap, Vir Das made his American late night TV debut with Conan O’Brien’s talk show Team Coco. Conan has this segment where he invites comedians to entertain the audience. On Tuesday night, promoting his Netflix special, he joked about how an Indian is the best kind of brown-skinned human to be on this planet in these uncertain times. Taking a jibe at President of The United States of America, Donald Trump, he called him America’s arranged marriage.

Vir Das, in his Netflix Special ‘Abroad Understanding’, discusses nationalism, globalism, and bad politics. The special released for streaming on April 25.
