One of the highly awaited films of the year is Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s Toilet– Ek Prem Katha which is all set to hit screens this Friday. Bollywood celebrities have also come out in support of this film with their interesting and quirky promotional videos.
After a series of hilarious promotional videos by Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Arjun Kapoor, mentor- mentee duo Karan Johar and Alia Bhatt have joined the bandwagon. In a video shared by Karan, he is seen knocking on a washroom door and Alia opens it. Without doing much, they instantly urge their fans to watch the film. He captioned the video as, “Can’t wait to watch toilet ek prem Katha…1 day to go…this one is for you @akshaykumar….@kriarj.”
Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Toilet- Ek Prem Katha also stars Anupam Kher, Divyendu Sharma among others. It is slated to release on August 11.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt is starring in Karan Johar’s co-production Raazi which also stars Vicky Kaushal. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is slated to release on May 11, 2018.
