With their film just a couple of days away from its release, debutants Aadar Jain and Anya Singh aren’t leaving any stones unturned when it comes to promotions. Their film Qaidi Band, which comes from the house of Yash Raj banner, is an unconventional drama about music and prisoners. Now in the midst of the promotional campaign, Aadar and Anya decided to seek the Almighty’s blessings especially considering that it is their debut film.
Aadar Jain and Anya Singh reportedly took off to visit the Holy Ajmer Sharif Dargah during the promotions of Qaidi Band. This dargah is dedicated to Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and is considered a pilgrimage spot that makes any wish come true by countless people across the world. People come from all around India and also the world to seek blessings here.
On her visit to Ajmer Sharif, Anya Singh said, “I am very spiritual and always seek God’s blessings before starting anything new. I prayed for the success of our film and for my family.” Aadar Jain further added, “This is my first visit to Ajmer Sharif and it made me feel calm, peaceful. I have come here today to pray for my family, my loved ones, my friends and my film.”
While this gesture is not new, let us remind you that many actors and actresses in the past have visited the holy shrine to seek blessings right before the release of their films.
As for Qaidi Band, the film that is directed by Habib Faisal, is slated to release on August 25.
