With the festivities that will continue this entire week, B-town in all its glory decided to add some glitter to Diwali by organizing bashes. From Arpita Khan to Ekta Kapoor, several celebrities have been planning a lavish party at their residence with who’s who of Bollywood attending it. Ekta Kapoor’s 2017 Diwali bash was equally a star-studded event with not just Bollywood but even television industry gracing the same.
The guest list comprised of some prominent names from the industry which included Jaya Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Kriti Sanon, Sonakshi Sinha, Sonam Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Ileana D’Cruz, producer Ritesh Sidhwani, Hema Malini along with her daughters and sons-in-law, Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari and his filmmaker wife Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Arjun Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu and hubby Karan Singh Grover among others.
The dressy evening also saw the presence of several actors and actresses from the TV industry since Ekta is fondly addressed as the TV Czarina. Amongst the small screen stars, it was not surprising to see her Naagin actress Mouni Roy who will soon venture into films opposite Akshay Kumar in Gold. Besides her, Madhurima Tuli, Adaa Khan [a regular in Ekta’s TV shows, her famous TV soap Yeh Hai Mohabbatein stars Karan Patel, Divyanka Tripathi and hubby Vivek Dahiya, Karishma Tanna, Krystle D’Souza, Karan Tacker, Mona Singh, Dheeraj Doopar of Kundali Bhagya fame were some others adding glamour to the bash.
Ekta Kapoor, who produces film and TV content, was more than happy to play the perfect host as she welcomed her actresses with great warmth. Interestingly, Veere Di Wedding gang comprising of Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker, Shikha Talsania too had taken a break from their shoot and had arrived at the bash. We received several sneak peeks from the bash as the guests as well as enthusiastic fans posted many inside pictures of the same on social media.
Also, Ekta Kapoor who too was thrilled to pose for the shutterbugs posted a few pictures of her bash.
