Akshay Kumar is a very busy man. The actor is currently busy shooting for PadMan which is a biopic on an entrepreneur Arunachalam Muruganantham. This film happens to be the first film under Twinkle Khanna’s production banner. The film shoot was recently wrapped up in New York.
A few days ago, Sonam Kapoor and Akshay Kumar headed to New York for the last schedule of the film. On Sunday, we came across some pictures of Sonam, Akshay, director R Balki and others as they wrapped up their NYC schedule. Some fan pages shared photos of the actors in which one can see Akshay and Sonam smiling and striking a pose together.
Directed by R Balki and produced by Twinkle Khanna, PadMan is based on a real-life story of a social entrepreneur, Arunachalam Muruganantham, who took it up upon himself to provide low-cost sanitary napkins to women from poor economic background across rural India. The film also stars Radhika Apte and is slated to release on January 26, 2018.
