We can hardly keep calm as the most eligible bachelor of the cricketing world got hitched to his long-time girlfriend and actress, Anusha Sharma amidst a simple yet elegant wedding in Tuscany. In sync with his bride who indulged in bespoke wedding fineries from India’s most sought after fashion designer, Sabyasachi, Virat Kohli too jumped aboard the bandwagon pulling off one stunning ensemble after another. Known for his off-field casual and dapper style game, Virat Kohli immensely complimented his petite bride. Virat Kohli also had his beard game on point that added a drop-dead handsome element to all of his looks.

The power couple, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma not only exemplify the dreamy merger of two of the most glamorous professions of the country – cricket and Bollywood but spark off a style game that’s minimal and refreshing. For their D-day, the modern age cloth-magician, Sabyasachi, weaved traditionalism with contemporary elements to cater to the sensibilities of conservative as well as the experimental man. Making us drool with his utterly rare and raw vibe every time he steps out, Virat Kohli channelled a desi munda look with a serious hint of chak de fatte vibe. Here’s how he dazzled our senses with his Sabyasachi ensembles.

Twinning with his bride, Virat opted for a signature khadi kurta churidaar with a classic fuchsia pink textured silk Nehru jacket that were detailed with the Sabyasachi House blazer buttons. A pair of customised tan leather jutti with a zardosi crest was a worthy addition.

Sparking off an immensely inspiring colour choice for all the grooms to be, Virat complimented his pretty in pastel pink bride by wearing a hand-embroidered ivory raw silk sherwani in a vintage Benarasi pattern and signature buttons from the House of Sabyasachi with an old Rose silk Kota safa. Accessories by Sabyasachi rounded out his look.

While we wonder if wifey (Oh yes, they are married now! Please accept it!) Anushka Sharma lent her ideas on Virat Kohli’s ensembles, the debonair Delhi munda sure kept his tryst with traditionalism a la Bollywood style.
