The bond that Mahesh Bhatt shares with daughter Alia is unparalleled. Mahesh has a different outlook towards life and relationships and he embedded these qualities in his darling daughter too. However, Alia also cultivated a fresh outlook towards life, possibly through her experiences or from her other family members. Hence, the combo of these viewpoints made Alia a mature as well as a sweet, fun individual. And yes, she also got the filmmaking skills from her daddy dearest, among other things.
Yesterday, Mahesh Bhatt shared a wonderful picture that gives another insight about their lovely bond. It shows Alia Bhatt’s first ever autograph and that too on Mahesh Bhatt’s book ‘A Taste of Life’. The date mentioned is November 14, 2010 and the message reads ‘My first autograph is for you only because I love you so much’! The tweet caption of Mahesh Bhatt read, “‘You have to find something that you love enough to be able to take risks.’ Alia’s first autograph on my book A Taste of Life. This book chronicles the most intense phase of my ‘love story’ with the most subversive man who has walked on this planet”.
Incidentally, November 14, 2010 was the time when she had almost bagged or maybe already signed her debut film, Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year. A formal announcement of her debut was made in January 2011 and the film released on October 19, 2012. Her role in the film was limited but later she impressed audiences with performances in films like Highway, 2 States, Udta Punjab, Dear Zindagi etc. Alia Bhatt will be seen next in Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi, Ayan Mukerji’s sci-fi flick Brahmastra, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan, and 2 States director Abhishek Varman’s next which also features Varun Dhawan. She hasn’t worked with Mahesh Bhatt till now and there’s a possibility of them collaborating for Aashiqui 3.
