Varun Dhawan works on sewing machine during his workshops for Sui Dhaaga- Made in India

Varun Dhawan has had a phenomenal year with his highly entertaining films with Badrinath Ki Dulhania and Judwaa 2. Going ahead, Varun Dhawan has chosen different stories and will be seen in new avatars in his upcoming films- October and Sui Dhaaga- Made in India.

After wrapping up Shoojit Sircar’s October last week, Varun Dhawan has not taken any downtime. The actor has begun prep for his next with Yash Raj Films’ Sui Dhaaga- Made in India. Varun will star as a labour in the film and has already started learning how to work on a sewing machine. Sharing a couple of Instagram stories, Varun was seen learning how to sew in his trial room on Wednesday afternoon. It seems like Varun is getting the hang of the machine and was seen sewing a shirt.

Sui Dhaaga- Made in India is a story about the condition of local cottage industries and will revolve around dignity of labour among others. Earlier, Varun had mentioned that the film endorses the mantra of ‘Made of India’ and that it is relevant story even in today’s times. This will be the first time Varun Dhawan will be starring opposite Anushka Sharma and working with YRF. Directed by Sharat Katariya, the film hit the theatres on October 2, 2018.
