Diljit Dosanjh has remained a popular name up in the North for couple of years. But he has slowly started to make a mark even in the Bollywood industry. The last time we saw him turn into a cop for a Bollywood, it was for the gritty Udta Punjab. Now he will re-don the same avatar but with a humorous twist. And the film in question is Arjun Patiala.
The makers of Arjun Patiala decided to give a Valentine’s treat for the fans of Diljit Dosanjh. They released the first look of the actor in his police look on February 14. Definitely his fans are super thrilled by this surprise.
Also, it is being said that Diljit Dosanjh is super excited about playing the role of a cop. Besides Udta Punjab, the actor has essayed this role in many other films including the Punjabi blockbuster Jatt & Juliet.
Speaking on the film, Dinesh Vijan added, “Arjun Patiala (larger than life) is a comic franchise. Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Sharma and Kriti Sanon have a fantastic comic timing.” A source on the sets of the film said, “Diljit was in top form on day one and the scene turned out even more hilarious than on paper. The whole unit was in splits.”
On the other hand, Kriti Sanon went on to talk about joining the team in Chandigarh. Just a day ago, the actress posted videos and pictures from her first schedule of Arjun Patiala. She was also accompanied by her Dilwale co-star Varun Sharma for the shoot of the film.
A Maddock Film production in association with T series and Bake my Cake Films, Arjun Patiala is slated to release on September 13.
