Kangana Ranaut has for long proved that she is not your run of the mill actress. She is shooting for Rani of Jhansi biopic, Manikarnika, and has already announced her next film. She is pairing up with her Queen co-star Rajkummar Rao once again and we sure will be treated to something special on screen. Both the lead actors, Kangy and Rajkummar, are yelling from over the roof tops that ‘sanity is overrated’ as the makers of their film, Mental Hai Kya, are releasing new looks everyday. The two have been personifying the terms ‘wacky and quirky ‘ with their every look and boy, oh boy, we can’t wait to see them in this INSANE avatar soon.
Ranaut and Rao, two of the most versatile actors in Bollywood, have come together for Ekta Kapoor and Shaailesh R Singh’s Mental Hai Kya and to promote the film, the makers have come up with a unique announcement plan. For an entire week, they will release two new looks of the actors daily.

The film, written by Kanika Dhillon, will be directed by National Award-winning director Prakash Kovelamudi. The film is set to go on floors this month. Talking about his character to media, Rajkummar Rao said that he was totally blown away by the script of the film and he loved how both his and Kangy’s characters are defined.
It would be interesting to see Rajkummar in such a diverse role after his terrific performance in Trapped, Newton, Shahid…among others.
