Megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda may be away from the limelight but she manages to be in news for all the right reasons. Amitabh Bachchan, who recently wrapped up Thugs of Hindostan schedule, reunited with his granddaughter after being back in Mumbai.

Amitabh Bachchan shared the cutest picture with Navya Naveli Nanda. “Home where the love is,” he captioned the photo. The grandfather- granddaughter duo can’t stop smiling in this cute selfie reunion. The last time Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture with Navya was during New Year’s Eve last year.

Amitabh Bachchan recently fell ill on the sets of Thugs of Hindostan in Jodhpur. A team of doctors was rushed to Jodhpur to check on his health. He had a problem with his back and shoulder. He was advised a day’s rest and he returned to the shoot after rest. Now, the schedule for him has been wrapped up.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will now begin work on Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. It is scheduled for August 15, 2019 release.

Before that, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen with Rishi Kapoor in Umesh Shukla’s 102 Not Out. Billed as the most unusual father and son love story,102 Not Out is based on playwright Saumya Joshi’s well known Gujarati play by the same name and has been adapted into a feature by him. It is a story of 102-year old Dattaraya Vakharia who at his age continues to spin aspirations and dreams, while his cynical son the 75-year old son Babu is cautious and cynical. Rishi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan are reuniting after 27 years later since they last came together in the Shashi Kapoor directed film, Ajooba. Rishi Kapoor is playing Amitabh Bachchan’s son in the film.

102 Not Out is produced by SPE Films India, Treetop Entertainment and Umesh Shukla’s Benchmark Pictures. The film releases worldwide on 4th May 2018.
