Amitabh Bachchan takes a rickshaw ride as the 102 year old

For a scene in the film, the actor was required to take a public transport from one location to another. And being the sport that he is, he immediately hopped into the rickshaw and did the shoot. Even though there was a lot of crowd that had gathered to watch the actor shoot, the crew made sure that the shoot was not disrupted. The fans, who had come watch the megastar, were also not disappointed. We hear that they were more than happy to get a glimpse of their superstar.

Talking about the same, director Umesh Shukla said, “At first we were hesitant as the shape of a rickshaw is quite small and we wondered if Mr. Bachchan would be comfortable given his tall stature and 6’2 height. However when we conveyed this to him, he insisted on travelling in the rickshaw and was quite enthusiastic too. In fact, he was reliving his young days! The entire day we shot in the rickshaw.”

A Sony Pictures Releasing International Production and worldwide distribution- 102 Not Out is produced by SPE Films India, Treetop Entertainment and Umesh Shukla’s Benchmark Pictures. The film is slated to release on May 4.
