After much contemplation, discussions and delays, the Aanand L. Rai production, Manmarziyaan went on floor recently. After a short schedule in Kashmir, it seems the cast has returned to their roots – Punjab to shoot yet another major portion of the film. Or at least that is what the recently released picture indicates. A picture of Taapsee Pannu and Abhishek Bachchan from the sets of the film seems to have gone viral on social media and here’s a glimpse.
As you can see, the picture clearly portrays Taapsee Pannu as the bride and Abhishek Bachchan as the groom. Furthermore, it looks like a perfect family picture featuring other characters from the film in their authentic Punjabi avatars. In fact, it has some renowned faces from the TV industry like veteran actor Arun Bali, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehla Hai star Ashnoor Kaur and Naamkaran star Neelu Kohli among others. However the details of the characters they play in the film is yet to be known.
Furthermore, along with this, yet another picture featuring the groom Abhishek Bachchan too has gone viral. If recent reports are to be believed, this picture was originally released as an official one but was later pulled off social media. We wonder if it was a major error and a closely guarded secret. But now it seems that the cat is out of the bag, with the pictures already going viral on various platforms.
Interestingly, when the first look of Manmarziyaan was released it featured Vicky Kaushal as Taapsee Pannu’s love interest. It seems that the ongoing viral pictures have already unveiled the marriage of Taapsee with Abhishek in this love triangle.
Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Manmarziyaan features Taapsee Pannu as an aspiring hockey player. The film set in Punjab, is slated to release on September 27 this year. Interestingly, she plays a professional hockey player in Soorma, based on Indian hockey captain Sandeep Singh’s life.
