A source close to the development said, “Vishal’s heart beats for the cause of special needs and these specially-abled children. He has gone the extra mile to support Y Films’ initiative called Isspeshal 6 and has recorded a song with them which will be launched soon. Be it his activist side or his musician persona, Vishal loves to be part of projects that can drive positive change. He has let go of his entire remuneration for this project! When the team at Y-Films approached him, Vishal said yes immediately. He saw some of the work of the members of the 6 Pack Band Version 2.0 and was simply blown away by their talent and musical blessing. Vishal feels this initiative can affect change and its cause is extremely relevant among today’s youth.”

Vishal and this musical bunch of the 6 Pack Band Version 2.0 are bound to create magic together as they are doing a rendition of the iconic ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’.

“It is a subtle metaphor, a mirror to society that what they don’t understand is easily labelled as a mental issue which isn’t the case. These children are healthy, extremely talented and brilliant enough to win in this the world. All they need is love and care and the freedom to fly. The new rendition of ‘Dil Toh Pagal Hai’ celebrated the spirit of freedom, the spirit of breaking the shackles of stigma and labelling. The kids are here to teach us how to live without stereotypes. It is a song that will touch the hearts of one and all.”

Vishal Dadlani said, “It means the world to me to be featuring on a song with the 6 pack band 2.0. Deeply thankful to the kids Ananya Halarnkar, Anjali Ramesh, Maitreya Matale, Parth Padhye, Prerna Agarwal & Rishaan Patil- all of whom taught me about life, courage and overcoming obstacles with a smile and of course to Y-Films, Ashish Patil & Shamir Tandon for letting me be part of this.”
