Neha Dhupia shocked everyone by secretly marrying Angad Bedi. While she very much is a social person, she kept her intention of marrying Angad under wraps. In fact many insiders did not know that the two were dating. With no PDA or brouhaha around this subject, she took off to Noida with Angad and got married in a traditional Sikh ceremony Anand Karaj at a gurudwara. Karan Johar got to share a picture of the bride and groom and announce this union on Twitter. This followed with Neha and Angad doing the same on their timelines. Well, their Bollywood pals were surprised but equally puzzled too. Ayushmann Khurrana jokingly remarked that they ran away and therefore did not call anyone to their wedding! Fashion photographer  Atul Kasbekar too playfully wanted to give a tight whack to Angad and Neha for the super secrecy surrounding their wedding but ultimately everyone was happy for them! Now, that is really heart-warming.

Just after the wedding, the two have taken off to US to attend a professional event and then will extend their stay for a few days. After coming back, they have promised to throw a party for their industry friends. In a joint statement issued by Neha and Angad, they wrote, “Marrying your best friend is one of the greatest feelings in the world, and we are extremely fortunate to have found love in each other. It has been a beautiful journey knowing each other and after formalizing the wedding earlier this year, today, we exchanged our vows in a beautifully simple, private and intimate Anand Karaj ceremony in Delhi. We look forward to celebrating and sharing this special moment with our friends and colleagues in Mumbai in the next couple of weeks. Thank you for showering us with so much love. Your blessings have truly made this day so much more special.”
