Deepika Padukone is turning up the heat at the Cannes 2018 red carpet and how! The leggy lass was spotted at the French Riviera yesterday in a dramatic pink high low gown which was full of ruffles, drama and gave Queen D a totally different edge at the international red carpet. Needless to say, her fans lapped up this appearance and went ga-ga over it. DP while waltzing along the red carpet had pulled her hair into a top knot and looked absolutely smashing. Fans were quick to notice that DP’s trademark RK tattoo went missing. There was a speculation that the actress has finally removed it but well this is not true because just a few days ago the actor was working out and flaunting her tattoo quite unselfconsciously. Turns out, the tattoo was just covered up using make up to adhere to the theme to her entire look. The tattoo is very much there. Only the letter K is modified into a design of a flower while she still has the letter R, you know for who.
At Karan Johar’s controversial talk show, Deepika opened up about the tattoo and said that it is something that she felt was correct, and even today, she doesn’t regret it. She has never thought about taking it off. She also revealed that media is obsessed with her RK tattoo and constantly say that ‘she has taken it off’, ‘she has lasered it’, ‘she has changed it’ and all kinds of things. It’s very much there and she has no plans of taking it off, she clarified.
Professionally, Deepika has had a great year with Padmaavat doing record breaking business at the box office. Her personal life is in news too and for all the right reasons. According to the grapevine, there is a talk of Deepika-Ranveer marriage happening soon. Stay tuned for all the updates.
