Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj began shooting his directorial titled Chhuriyaan in the month of April, this year. One of the two leading ladies in the film is Sanya Malhotra who impressed the audience with her debut in Aamir Khan starrer Dangal. The other leading lady is TV actress Radhika Madan who rose to fame as Ishani in Ekta Kapoor‘s TV show, Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi. Just last month, it was announced that comedian Sunil Grover is the leading man of the film. The filming began in Rajasthan and now the first schedule has come to an end.
The first schedule of Chhuriyaan came to a close last night. Leading man Sunil Grover shared a few photographs with director Vishal Bhardwaj and the leading ladies Sanya Malhotra and Radhika Madan. He captioned the images, “What a lovely and joyful experience to work with the master of the craft @VishalBhardwaj as the first and exciting schedule of the film got over today. @sanyamalhotra07 @radhikamadan01 Bada maza aaya.”
According to earlier reports, Vishal Bhardwaj is working on the music album as well with five to six songs, keeping Rajasthani flavour and folklore in mind for Chhuriyaan. He will also have a grand dance number in the film. The actors have undergone dialect training to learn Rajasthan language. Chhuriyaan is inspired by sibling rivalry where the two sisters constantly want to cut each other. The film is divided into two eras – pre and post marriage. Sanya and Radhika will sport different looks in the film.
Meanwhile, Sanya Malhotra has already completed shooting for her next film Badhaai Ho which stars Ayushmann Khurrana.
