Bollywood celebrities are known to be fitness enthusiasts. As they dedicate time for fitness, they often take fitness challenges to spread awareness about fit and healthy lifestyle. Last month, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore urged the citizens of India to participate in fitness challenge called #HumFitToIndiaFit. After urging the citizens to participate, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore challenged Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli, shuttler Saina Nehwal, and Hrithik Roshan to join the #FitnessChallenge to inspire others. Since then, many celebrities have taken up the fitness challenge and tagged others to showcase their fitness routines as well.
Sonam Kapoor has taken up the challenge and shared a photograph from her gym session. The actress tagged her husband Anand Ahuja, dad Anil Kapoor and brothers Arjun Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor to take up the challenge. “Excited about this challenge, thank you @tigerjackieshroff for nominating me! Kudos @ra_rathore for pushing India to becoming stronger. Here’s one of my favourite workout moves! I nominate @anilskapoor, @anandahuja, @arjunkapoor & @harshvardhankapoor. #HumFitTohIndiaFit #FitnessChallenge,” she wrote with photo.
Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, Karan Johar, Sushant Singh Rajput, Saiyami Kher have joined the bandwagon among others.
Sonam Kapoor, on the work front, is currently soaring high on the success of his recent release Veere Di Wedding. The film, which released on June 1, has crossed 50 crore mark at the box office. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania.
