Magazine covers continue to rule the roost every month for their one-of-a-kind take on things. Giving us an apt juxtaposition of high-fashion with never-heard-before musings from some of the most sought after stars, this month’s a sheer delight for all the fans of Aditi Rao Hydari and Rajkummar Rao. This month sees not one but two covers for the leading magazine, Elle as Adii Rao Hydari and Rajkummar Rao strike a pose. Looking every bit stunning, Aditi smoulders and preens in delight while Rajkummar works off that dapper charm to the hilt. Titled The Film Issue, Aditi graces the print edition while Rajkummar is the face of the digital issue. Right in the prime of her career, Aditi Rao Hydari straddles the weight of her family’s name, while also safely securing a sequence of stellar opportunities, placing her at that perfect insider-outsider intersection in Bollywood. Looking like a bawse, National Award winner Rajkummar remembers, “I shifted to Mumbai on February 17, 2008. My first audition was on March 3. It was for an ad. And I got it. I started singing the song, ‘Bam bam bam bam Bambai. Bambai hum ko jum gayi! And then, no work for two years.” For Aditi, the year 2018 began on a splendid note following the phenomenal response to Padmaavat in which she essayed the role of Mehrunisa. Rajkummar garnered unprecedented accolades for his roles of Newton Kumar in Newton and Pritam Vidrohi in Bareilly Ki Barfi last year.
The photoshoot has been lensed by Tarun Khiwal and styled by Rahul Vijay. The glam squad features makeup and hairstylist Elton J Fernandez. Here is a closer look at the covers.
