Well, not too long, we got a sneak peek into the much talked about film Fanney Khan which will see Taal co-stars Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after a long time. However, if you have come across a poster of the film which features Rajinikanth along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao, we are sure that it would have left you a tad bit surprised? Don’t be! Here’s all you need to know about the said poster.
The makers of Fanney Khan decided to release a poster featuring superstar Rajinikanth in it for a reason! The mystery is that Anil Kapoor is sporting a mask of Rajinikanth from the latter’s blockbuster film Robot. If you don’t believe us, then here is another poster from the film that will clarify all your doubts.
Well, we must say that the two posters which released today are very quirky. The theme of the posters too seems to be quite obvious. Tied hands and her expressions are enough to reveal that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been kidnapped and the fact that Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are hiding their faces, one behind the Rajinikanth mask and the other behind a scarf, is a proof enough that they are the ones behind the crime! Reason? Well, our guess is as good as yours!
All we know is that Fanney Khan is a musical comedy and revolves around the story of a father who wishes to fulfill the dream of his daughter who is an aspirational singer. While Aishwarya Rai Bachchan plays a singing sensation in the film, Rajkummar Rao will be seen as her love interest.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra & Anil Kapoor in association with P.S. Bharathi, Rajiv Tandon & Krishan Kumar, Kussum Arora & Nishant Pitti, Fanney Khan marks the directorial debut of Atul Manjrekar. The film is all set to release on August 3, 2018.
