Mumbai: Bhatt’s Aashquie 2’s auditions were going on and from all over the country, the aspirants and the ones who were from entertainment world but maintain low profile career participated in the auditions. Now the auditions are over and the names of the cast have been finalized. They have also been announced. The two leading actors of the sequel to Aashquie were earlier announced and they included Shaad Randhawa and Aditya Roy Kapoor. The search was now going for the leading actress of the film and that search too is over now since the leading lady is finalized now.  She is none other than Shraddha Kapoor, the daughter of the famed Bollywood villain Shakti Kapoor.

The shooting for the new age Aashquie will soon begin, the reports suggest. Shraddha’s film career has not been well so far and now after stepping into Bhatt’s camp, it is being expected that she will witness a jump into career move. She was launched in Amitabh Bachchan starrer Teen Patti and she was roped in to play the lead in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production ‘My Friend Pinto’ but unfortunately for her, the role was finally given to Kalki Koechlin. Then Shraddha did Yash Raj Films’s Luv Ka The End, which did not do well at the box office. Now as Bhatts are behind her back, she will get the boost in career. Bhatts are famous in giving good launching pad to newcomers thus Shraddha Kapoor will find a good launch from them with Aashquie 2.

Mukesh Bhatt makes it confirmed that they have roped in Shraddha Kapoor in the cast of Aashquie 2 and he is sure of her acting skills and even admire her a lot. He goes on saying that the sequel to Aashquie would provide the three stars – Shaad, Aditya and Shraddha a mammoth platform and fame which were given to Rahul Roy, Anu Agarwal and Deepak Tijori 22 years back from Aashquie.
