Many sequels to hit the screens this year

Mumbai: Sequels are the toast of the time in Bollywood these days and everybody loves grabbing them. This fashion statement and formula of success has been going on successfully on Bollywood terra firma. The makers most of the time have been getting success with the sequels of the popular movies. Even now the remakes of the old yesteryear’s movies too have started emerging on the celluloid. Audiences approve them and the makers make them. A good combination of give and take is going on.

In this ongoing year, a number of sequels are lined up for release. The first to come up is Ekta Kapoor’s Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum which is the sequel to 2005’s successful comedy Kya Kool Hain Hum. Tusshar Kapoor’s butt exposing has been promoting the movie pretty well. The film is all set to hit the screens all over on July 27th.

Next is Pooja Bhatt’s directed erotic thriller Jism 2 starring adult movie star Sunny Leone and Randeep Hooda in main leads. The film is the sequel of Jism (2003) that starred Bipasha Basu and John Abraham. Jism 2 has been getting good response from the audiences even prior to the release and this is due to the presence of the hottest lass Sunny Leone and her seductive moves. Jism 2 will release on August 3rd.

Raaz 3 stars Emraan Hashmi, Bipasha Basu and Esha Gupta. It is the third franchise of Raaz. The movie will release on September 7th.

Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal is on way to be showcased on September 28th. The comic caper is the sequel to 2006’s superhit comedy Malamaal Weekly.

1920 – The Evil Returns is the sequel to Vikram Bhatt’s hit horror movie of 2008 ‘1920’. The movie will hit the theaters on October 5th.

Aashquie 2, the sequel to Mahesh Bhatt’s blockbuster musical of 1990. The film is scheduled to release on December 7th.

Dabaang 2, the sequel to Salman Khan’s blockbuster Dabaang of 2010, is going to hit your hearts on December 21st.
