A K Hangal admitted in hospital

USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Avtar Kishan Hangal, popularly known as A.K. Hangal (98 years), is extremely critical and was been admitted to Asha Parekh Hospital in Mumbai yesterday, after he fell in his bathroom and fractured his right femur (thigh) bone. Since his condition started deteriorating after the initial examinations at home, the doctors have shifted him to the hospital's ICU and put him on ventilator support.

Talking about Hangal's condition, Dr. Vinod Khanna, (Orthopedic Surgeon- Asha Parekh Hospital) said that during Hangal's examination, they found that he had severe chest complications, and that's why they admitted him in the ICU. Khanna also added that his condition is still critical and he has been kept under observation.

Readers may recall that Hangal, despite, his age and health conditions, braved to face the camera for the recently launched TV serial 'Madhubala', wherein he had reached the sets on a wheelchair.
