Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…An FIR was lodged against the producers of Sanjay Dutt starrer Sher– Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. for allegedly duping a man of Rs. 1.58 crores. The complaint was filed by Surendra Kala, who provided logistical support for the shooting of the film in Jaipur in May this year.

Kala had charged the producers Dhillin Mehta and Hiren Gandhi of Ashtavinayak Rs. 1.58 crores for services rendered by him. However, when he deposited the cheques given to him, he was shocked to see that they were dishonoured by the bank.

He then lodged a police complaint in Jaipur against both the producers who signed the cheques and both Dhillin and Hiren have now been booked under sections of the 420(fraud) and 406 (criminal breach of trust) of the Indian Penal Code.
