Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…After Karan Johar incorporated Pakistani pop singer Nazia Hasan's hit track 'Disco Deewane' in his forthcoming college caper Student Of The Year, Nikhil Advani went ahead and quickly lapped up Bangladeshi singer Runa Laila's all time hit 'Dama Dam Mast Qalandar', for his forthcoming film D-Day
Nikhil Advani, who has acquired the rights to the song, will have Mika crooning it for the film. The hit song is being re-rendered by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Talking about the song, Shankar Mahadevan said that they have done a scratch recording for it and that it's a great song to dance to.
D-Day is being produced by DAR Motion Pictures and deals with a ragged bunch of RAW agents who are sent by the Indian government to bring Dawood Ibrahim from Pakistan by road. The film stars Arjun Rampal, Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan in the lead roles. Nikhil has also signed up Tom Struthers, one of the top-most American action directors for the film.
