Akshay Kumar, the superstar of Bollywood has his own stake when it comes to controversies, and now much after his film Singh Is Kinng has released, comes another lawsuit dragging the makers’ in. The case in question has been filed by the American Rights management committee, saying that the film Singh Is Kinng has been derived from the 1929 short story Madame La Gimp by Damon Runyon. Talking about the issue, producer Vipul Shah told Bollywood Hungama, "Yes, I have heard of the lawsuit filed against the film, however, I have watched A Pocketfull of Miracle, another film that is based on Madame La Gimp and don’t see any relevance between the two. Furthermore, the script and story of the film have been written by Anees Bazmee, currently shooting in Canada. Once he is back, we will sit on this topic and see what course of action is best taken. Till then it will be with our legal department."
