USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Abbas-Mustan's multi-starrer Race 2 produced by Tips may have made its moolah at the B.O., however the film now finds itself in a fresh controversy.
Following a petition filed by social worker Teena Sharma alleging that the film was vulgar with a lot of double meaning dialogues and showed nude scenes, a division bench of Chief Justice D. Murugesan and Justice V.K. Jain of the Delhi High Court expressed their displeasure over the content of the film.
Teena Sharma had tried to seek a ban on the release of the film in January but the film had already been cleared by the CBFC with a U/A certificate. Sharma is also shocked how the film got a U/A certificate in India when it's been given an A certificate in as many as 40 countries.
The High Court has sought response from the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, CBFC and Delhi Government and posted the matter for Friday.
