Taaha seems very happy to be a part of this Dharma Production’s film as he discloses Karan Johar never wanted to meet him in the first place. “I think i was very disappointed when i came to know Karan Johar didn’t wanted to see me. I had finished one of my shoot little early, I had rehearsed the script many times. But i am a kind of a guy who doesn’t take defeat and success seriously. I am okay with the film’s success and the failure. I really felt bad at that moment despite of my preparations, But i stayed in touch with Karan Johar.” said Taaha Shah.
On being asked if he discussed this with KJo during the shoot of Gippy, Taaha replied “No, I didn’t discussed this incident with him. I first met him in Yash Raj’s office and he shared his contacts with me. Somehow he knew that i am not that kind of an actor who will keep him harassing for work.”
Gippy is directed by Sonam Nair and stars new-find Riya Vij playing the title role. The film is set to release on May 10th all over.
