This Eid two Bollywood films Chennai Express and Once Upon A Time in Mumbai 2 of leading Bollywood stars Sharukh Khan and Akshay Kapoor will be banned in Pakistan.

With plans of releasing four big Pakistani movies this Eid, renowned Distributor Abdul Rashid has decided to ban two Indian films in Pakistan which may affect viewership of Pakistani films. Sharukh Khan and Akshay Kapoor have big fan following in Pakistan and fans are always eager to watch their latest flicks. Chennai Express starring Sharukh Khan and Once Upon A Time in Mumbai 2 starring Akshay Kapoor are latest top releases for this Eid which have been shuned in Pakistan.

According to  Abdul Rashid, they have decided not to screen the two Bollywood movies to give a chance to four Pakistani films releasing on Eid.

“The reason is we have four big Pakistani releases lined up for Eid and this time we want to see how they fare at the box office without direct competition from Indian films,” Rashid said.

These two films are planned to release on 15th August in Pakistan, after a week which might affect their business and revenue. But the great news is that, we will have our own movies this Eid, which we have been waiting for so long.
