‘Laden’ dropped from Tere Bin Laden in Pakistan

Don’t they say better safe than sorry? The makers of the upcoming Tere Bin Laden starring the Pakistani Pop star Ali Zafar; have decided to drop the name Laden from the title of the film as a precautionary measure. Considering the kind of tensions surrounding Pakistan, the makers have given full freedom to the distributors to go ahead with the title Tere Bin in posters instead of Tere Bin Laden. The title itself is more tongue-in-cheek remark on the Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden. The makers plan to release the film in the US to get a wider spectrum but they would do that only in the second phase as it would be realised in UK, India, Pakistan and Australia and other NRI markets first.
