Kareena Kapoor has not only been the ultimate glamour quotient needed to spice up any movie, but also a fashion figure for every girl. Now, the diva wants to connect with her fans and help them transform into gorgeous divas… just like her. She not only reveals her fashion secrets, but also shares tips and advices in her book 'The Style Diary Of A Bollywood Diva'.
In the book, the actress talks about everything ranging from the type and fit of jeans, T-shirts, vests, jackets, sweaters, dresses to office essentials, ethnic wear and even buying the right bra!
According to Bebo, "Nothing can be called 'jeans' unless they are blue! Levis is a cheap and comfortable brand". While her advice to middle-class working women is, "Not holding on to a pair of jeans if they start bagging around the knee and crotch areas, to justify the price tag, but to put them down to bad luck and go shopping for a sturdier pair", one of her golden rules for denim buying, is to check if the waistline is high enough to protect assets when you bend or sit down.
Coming to shirts, it's all about the length. After sporting a bikini in Tashan, she suggests "Making sure the T-shirt covers the crotch at the front, and hits halfway on the butt at the back since anything shorter seems VULGAR". She also makes stylists stitch up slits that are showing too much leg because being an Indian girl she's not comfortable with it.

The style queen also gives the readers an inside story of her shooting for the Grazia's third anniversary issue cover in 2011 and the learning she got from it. The white Dolce and Gabbana dress which finally wound up on the cover, didn't work for her initially. But after trying on the dress, it was the perfect piece and got great responses. From this particular 'experience', she understood how easy it is for an actress to say no and still get away with it but if you're asking for someone's help, then you should let them do their job.

The Kapoor Fashionista is addicted to online shopping on 'Net-A-Porter' and obsessed with retail therapy. No wonder then, she has purchased so many versions of Yves Saint Laurent Tribute heels in different colors that she jokes about the company to name the style after the Kapoor sisters.
One of her memories regarding shopping is bargaining with mates for chappals at Bandra, Linking road since a pair of shoes for Rs. 300 was expensive for her then.
