The show goes on, But this time for the Punjabi film Industry. The lens man of Bollywood who gave us hit films like Karz, Pardes and Taal is now venturing in the Punjabi film Industry. Subhash Ghai, The Showman of the Indian film Industry is producing a Punjabi flick ‘Double Di Trouble’ (Under his banner Mukta Arts).

Double di trouble is Smeep Kang’s direction (Smeep kang claim to fame is Carry On Jatta), The film is on a pre-production stage and it will be out in the cinema’s soon.

The film is based on Comedy of Errors, where Shakespeare’s well known play would take a desi avatar when a father-son pair discovers their mirror images in a different city. The riot of laughter begins when the people around this duplicate duo keep confusing between the two! The situation gets further confounded when the duo tries to put its own logic behind the new faces behaving like old pals.  Hold your horses before you jump to conclusions. This is one of the morals of the film.

For the rest, come and die with laughter and witness the legendary Dharmendra’s first full-fledged foray in a Punjabi film alongside the reigning superstars, Gippy Grewal, Minisha Lamba, Ragini Khanna and ever loving comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi.

Double di trouble is a homecoming Punjabi project for man with a Golden heart Dharmendra, and also pulchritudinous damsel Poonam Dhillon would be seen after a long time. The movie promises to have the choicest favourite veteran actors of the audience, who’ll be stealing the show right away.  With such an enriched cast, the movie will hook the audience back.
