After a few false starts, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa took shape and rest is history. While Imran went on to establish himself in the industry, Abbas did suffer a setback with Jhootha Hi Sahi. However, he is back now with Mango and after Imran, he is now launching another newcomer in town, Harmanjeet Singha.

Says Abbas, "I have worked with fresh faces earlier and Harmanjeet has a wonderful combination of confidence and innocence. I think he has a very promising career ahead as an actor."

Harmanjeet is no stranger to the world of films and glamour as he is the younger brother of VJ turned actor Ranvijay (of Roadies fame).

"I became an actor by chance, it wasn't something I planned," adds Harmanjeet, "Abbas, who was making Mango, was looking to cast someone for the film. He knew Rannvijay and I happened to meet him. He casually asked me to come and audition for his film. I didn't think that he was being serious but then I went ahead and got myself a role in the film. I was that simple!"

Produced by MSM Motion Pictures and Bobby Bedi, the film also stars Monali Thakur, Ranvijay Singh, Swara Bhaskar and Chandan Roy Sanyal in key roles. In the film, Harmanjeet plays the role of an investment banker turned shack owner in Goa.

He adds with glee, "Abbas not only discovered me but also groomed me and taught me the intricacies and nuances of acting. I am really lucky to be making my debut with Abbas as my director."

We would like to say the same when the film hits the screens early next year. Hopefully, this Mango would be as delicious as it is sounds.
