USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The Delhi Election Commission (DEC) have now gone the FMCG way of roping in brand ambassadors in an attempt to connect with the masses. Recently, they unveiled its theme titled 'Dil Mein Hain Dilli. Vote Karenge.'
And to endorse this, they have roped in Soha Ali Khan to be their brand ambassador for the December 4 assembly poll. Talking about this, Soha said that she equated the right to vote as a luxury for which our forefathers fought. She added that we should not take it for granted. She also appealed to everyone, especially the youth, to come out and vote on the election day and not treat it as just another holiday.
Besides Soha, the DEC also has got on board the ace cricketer Virat Kohli and Toral Rasputa of 'Balika Vadhu' fame.
