USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Sonakshi sets her eyes on RRajkumar for her yearly hit After a flurry of 100 crore hits that she scored within two years of stepping into Bollywood, Sonakshi Sinha has now seen the not-so-rosy side of the industry during last few months. With her three major releases not quite covering the kind of distance that was expected out of them, all hopes of the actress are centered on her last biggie of the year, R… Rajkumar.

"The film is very important for her as she would certainly want to end the year on a high," comments a filmmaker, "She has seen success quite early in her career and to not have a single commercial hit to her name this year can't be expected to be taken lightly by her. R… Rajkumar has to work for her in a major way so that she can hold on to her position in the industry which had been quite enviable all this while."

This is well expected, considering the fact that ever since her debut with Dabangg, she has scored four centuries with Rowdy Rathore, Son of Sardaar and Dabangg 2 paying dividends as well. However, with Lootera, Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbaai Dobaara and Bullett Raja not bringing in major moolah and her special song-n-dance numbers in Himmatwala ('Thank God It's Friday') and Boss ('Har Kissi Ko') not turning into chartbusters either, 2013 has been a relatively low year for her.

Says a friend of the actress, "Ups and downs happen in everyone's career and for Sonakshi, none of this is a setback in any way. Her work has been appreciated in the films that she has done, especially Lootera, and as an actor, it has been a fulfilling year."

Considering the fact that R… Rajkumar brings her back in a space that director Prabhu Dheva had created for her in Rowdy Rathore, Sonakshi has all the right reasons to believe that all would be well as the year comes to a close. With her songs 'Saree Ke Fall Se' and 'Gandi Baat' turning into chartbusters and Eros going all out to promote the film extensively and make it Shahid Kapoor's biggest release till date, R… Rajkumar is one 'masala' film that may well be the best bet to add on to Sonakshi's repertoire of biggies.

"Let's not forget that she also has Action Jackson and the remake of Thuppakki with Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar coming up next," a trade observer adds, "It is a matter of time before hits start getting attached to her name all over again."

Fingers crossed!
