Sunny Leone and Yo Yo Honey Singh are currently getting high on 'Chaar Bottle Vodka' as they shoot for the Ragini MMS 2 song in Mumbai. While collaboration of this Punjabi pair is being looked forward to, not many are aware that the duo could well have come together 3-4 years back had things fallen into place.
"That was the time when Honey had just burst into the music scene while Sunny was an established adult film star making an aggressive inroad into Bollywood. Both had been keen to work with each other," informs our source.
However, it was not destined back then and geographical distance was an obstacle as well.
"The intent was all there but they both got busy with their respective work. Somehow the music video went on a back burner," says a common friend.
Bollywood opportunities changed the course for both Sunny and Honey. With both in the country for their respective assignments, it was Ekta Kapoor & Balaji who had the brainwave to pull off this casting coup.
"Sunny is the leading lady in Ragini MMS 2 while Honey and Balaji were in talks to work together. It was felt that Honey and Sunny together would be a lethal pair. The idea was mooted and fructified. It turned out to be a win-win for all," the friend adds.
Once Honey made Sunny hear the tune of 'Chaar Bottle Vodka', she was game. On her side, Ekta promised both that she would give music video of this catchy tune enough marketing and promotional muscle to make it an ultimate party number of the season.
The song will be unveiled by the end of February, almost a month before the film's release on March 21.
