UK-based artist and producer Arjun has been named a YouTube sensation after consistently releasing hit remixes and mash ups of Bollywood songs for the past few years. India's leading music company, T-Series, took Arjun on board this year and will release his next single under their banner on April 23.
His next release is an English Mix of 'Kabhi Jo Baadal Barse' originally sung by Arijit Singh from the T-Series catalogue and will be released on the T-Series official YouTube channel on April 23. The song teaser was released on April 17, and it has already been making waves, with 300,000 views on YouTube in just four days. This version of 'Kabhi Jo Baadal Barse' is a soft romantic track depicting both the happiness and the pain a person experiences in love. This R&B version is written, composed and sung by Arjun himself, who has racked up nearly 30 million views on YouTube, including several remixes of songs owned by T-Series themselves, such as 'Tum Hi Ho', 'Teri Meri' and 'Chammak Challo'.
Neeraj Kalyan, President of T-Series said, "It has always been our endeavor to offer conducive platforms for nurturing young and new talent and Arjun is just another step in that direction. The 30 sec teaser of the song launched last week has received overwhelming response and we are looking forward to the single release this week and hope it will receive larger audience acceptance globally."

Many talented performers are beginning their journey as singers and musicians on YouTube and have become mainstream stars in their own right. Arjun and T-Series latest endeavor is a fine example of this trend."
Commenting on his next single Arjun said, "As a musician hailing from the UK who creates a fusion of eastern and western music, I am really happy to have signed a deal with India's largest and most forward-thinking record company. I was extremely excited when I got a call from T-Series, telling me that they wanted to take me on board. I want to really push boundaries as a non play-back artist and make music that appeals to an international audience, while staying true to my roots. 'Kabhi Jo Baadal' is one of my favourite Bollywood songs of recent years and I was keen to create my own interpretation of the track. I have tried to keep the production organic, with mostly piano, guitars and strings, in order to bring out the classic melody of the original song. The response to the teaser has been amazing, so I am very excited to release the full track."
T-Series will release Arjun's album under their banner in later this year.
