It has happened twice. I've never said one bad word about him," stated Salman Khan while speaking to select journalists on Sunday July 6 at a studio in Mumbai. Incidentally a short while back on Sunday itself, Shah Rukh and Salman came together again at Baba Siddiqui's Iftaar Party and met each other graciously. "Whenever media goes after him, I've always supported him. Sometimes I agree with the way Shah Rukh thinks and I wish I could think like him, be like him but I just can't get myself to do that. He has his own way of thinking. My thinking is working for me. Aamir has got his own thinking," Salman said.

In a rare display of opening-up before the media, Salman also spoke about the certain issues that he had with the Media. "Aap mujhse achche se pesh aaoge, main aap se achche se pesh aaonga (If you'll treat me well, I'll treat you well)," Salman said. Khan stated that he is not comfortable when he is relentlessly asked personal questions, about his ex girl friends, on Shah Rukh or Court Cases which are subjudice. Salman said that certain groups who want to earn free publicity, protest in front of television cameras and vanish the moment the cameras go away. In his opinion, the media ought to be more discreet on how to present news. On a lighter note, Salman reminisced how some protestors were burning the posters of Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya before the release. Katrina said, "All that is fine but why are they kicking my face."
