USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…In a court order on Wednesday, producer Gaurang Doshi has been released of all financial obligation post-divorce towards his former wife Madhuri.
Gaurang is now the mood for a renewed legal battle with his ex-wife.
Revealing his war-like intentions Gaurang says, "It's an all-out battle for what is rightfully mine. I want my daughter Gehna back. Legally I was not entitled to her custody until she reached the age of 14. Now I can ask the courts to give me my daughter and by God, I will fight this to the last bitter breath. But I'll get my daughter back."
The producer known for his aggressive approach to all things personal and professional says it's time to flaunt his wealth.
Says the aggressive Doshi, "I want the courts to know that I am more than capable of looking after my daughter. So here I am declaring that I've not only paid up all the maintenance money for my wife and daughter, a total amount of Rs 3,36, 45,000 , that the courts had asked me to-and I've bank receipts and payment slips to prove it-I am also saying that the high-end Mercedes that is being seen as a sign of my self-indulgence and extravagance is owned by only 3 people in the film industry: Shah Rukh, Hrithik and me. It is actually far more expensive than my wife's lawyers think. The price (Rs 1.75 crores) they've mentioned is the basic cost of the car. I paid another crore to get my favourite digits 007 on my car number plate."
Justifying the flaunting of wealth the producer says, "I want my wife and the honourable courts to know I can afford to give my daughter the best possible upbringing that money can and can't buy."
