Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…We are sure that all the aspirants preparing for their Staff Selection Commission (SSC) must be referring to a million books on General Knowledge, current affairs and likewise. But, it seems that the SSC aspirants of Kerala should be abreast with the height of Bollywood's leading ladies too! A 'testimony' to this is in the form of the recent exam paper which the Kerala's SSC students were subjected to in their exam.
The Combined Graduate Level Exam conducted by the SSC Kerala, asked the candidates to name Bollywood's tallest actress and gave them a choice of four names in the form of 'Huma Qureshi', 'Katrina Kaif', 'Deepika Padukone' and 'Preity Zinta'.
While the SSC has rendered an apology for the question paper, A. Bhattacharya (SSC's Chairman) said that nobody from the SSC had set the said question paper and that it was done by the local teachers and a panel of experts. On the other hand, the Women's Commission, who objected to this question, demanded that the controversial question should not be considered for evaluation, something which the SSC has agreed to.
