Post his exit, the production house roped in Riteish Deshmukh to essay the title role in the film.
Now we hear that joining Riteish Deshmukh in the film will be none other than his Grand Masti costar Vivek Oberoi. It is learnt that Vivek Oberoi will be seen playing the second lead as a CBI officer who wreaks havoc in the lives of the robbers. On the other hand Reha Chakraborty will also be seen in the film as the leading lady.

Commenting on being a part of the film Vivek says, "I'm really happy to be back in the Yash Raj family again, truly glad Adi thought of me for this role. Working with my buddy Riteish is always a pleasure, hope we bring our crazy chemistry to this one too! Here's hoping our entire team of Bank Chor steals a million hearts!"

Adding to Vivek, Ashish Patil, Business & Creative Head, Youth Films, Brand Partnerships & Talent Management at Yash Raj Films said, "The game just got bigger with Vivek hitting the Bank Chor crime scene. Vivek brings his A-Game to whatever he does, and with this character that's signature rockstar badass Vivek, he's going to set the screen on fire. We're thrilled to welcome him to the party!"

Riteish Deshmukh who is fresh out of the success of Balaji's Ek Villain and his Marathi film Lai Bhaari has been on a high with back to back successes. In fact the actor is currently busy in Poland shooting for his next project produced by Excel Entertainment titled Bangistan.

Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi along with Aftab Shivdasani delivered a huge 100 cr plus hit last year in the form of the sex comedy Grand Masti, which was a sequel to the 2004 film Masti. And now with the two actors teaming up again for YRF's next which is also a comedy, one looks forward to seeing what magic they create on screen.

Bank Chor is said to be a comic-caper that tells the story of 3 morons trying to rob a bank. It so happens that they pick the worst day possible for the robbery when everything that can go wrong, goes wrong and how they're inadvertently caught in the crossfire of cops, industrialists and corrupt netas. The film will be directed by Bumpy who had earlier directed Love Ka The End which starred Shraddha Kapoor.
