After 1997's Judwaa Salman Khan had never played a double role. That is about to change three times over.

In his next three successive releases, Salman Khan features in double roles. First off was the eagerly-awaited Kick in which Salman features in the two avatars of the hero and a caped super-hero.

Says the film's director Sajid Nadiadwala, "People never expected Salman in a super-hero avatar since the original Telugu film had no such character."

After his triumph in the hero-superhero avatars, Salman Khan goes straight into Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo where he has a full-fledged double role.

And that isn't all. Right after Barjatya's film comes Anees Bazmee's No Entry Mein Entry where again, Salman has a double role.

In January 2015, Anees has finally got Salman Khan's dates for the sequel to his 2005 hit No Entry.

Says Anees, "Yes, its true Salmanbhai has double roles in Soorajji's film and in my film one after another. And incidentally one of Salman bhai's characters is named Prem in both my film and Soorajji's. But I'm sure the double role in Sooraji's film would be very different from mine. Soorajji's heros are noble goodhearted ever-smiling angelic souls. Salmanbhai plays quite a mischievous character in my film."

So is one Salman going to be wicked and the other goody goody on No Entry Mein Entry? "No no. Both the characters are very mischievous," asserts Salman.

Wouldn't there be an overdose of Salmam with six characters within a year in three films?

Avers Anees, "Not at all. Firstly each of the three films would feature Salman bhai in a different kind of double role. Soorajji is a very different director from me. And Sajid has his own unbeatable equation with Salman bhai. Kuch zabardast hone wala hai."
