But as bright and cheerful her personality is, she is surely a very famous physiotherapist and guess who she works with before treating Fawad's royal family in the film… the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Yes, Shah Rukh Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders has a strong connection with the film and if you are wondering what it is, then let us tell you that Sonam Kapoor plays the official physiotherapist of the Kolkata Knight Riders team. In fact, in the opening sequence, we get to see Sonam treating a player from the team for back problem during an IPL match.
Well that's not where the surprise ends. Apart from Aditi Rao Hydari's cameo, we will once again see Cyrus Sahukar doing a special appearance in this Rhea Kapoor film. Previously, the VJ turned actor played a prominent role in the Sonam Kapoor starrer Aisha. In this film, he plays the role of Fawad Khan's childhood friend.
Directed by Shashank Gosh, Khoobsurat also stars Kirron Kher, Ratna Pathak, Aamir Raza Hussain among others and is slated to release on September 19. The film is the official remake of the 80s classic by the same name that starred Rekha and Rakesh Roshan in the lead.
