USA: Free $30 Oye! The biggest highlight of the film is that it marks the comeback of veteran actress Rekha to the silver screen after a long gap and that too in an author backed role. The film also stars Sharman Joshi and Indra Kumar's daughter Shweta Kumar in lead.

The promo of Super Nani was recently released along with Sonam Kapoor starrer Khoobsurat, which ironically was the remake of Rekha's 80s hit film by the same name. The major roadblock for this Rekha starrer however was that it was scheduled to release on October 24 against Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year. Though one can argue that two films can release side by side, the producers of Super Nani realized that it was not a sensible plan to clash with SRK's biggie as the distributors too were finding it difficult to get enough screens for the Rekha starrer.

Hence, Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria have decided to move Super Nani ahead by a week and the film will now release on Oct 31.
