Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…With many actresses from Ameesha Patel to Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra turning producers, the new entrant in the list is Chitrangda Singh. Post her divorce with golf player Jyoti Randhawa, the actress has been keeping a low profile and now it has been revealed that she will be seen turning producer with a sports based film.
Sports biopics are the flavor of the season and Chitrangda has bought the rights of the life story of hockey wizard Sandeep Singh. An excited Sandeep revealed that he has known Chitrangda for years and is very glad about the fact that his journey of success will now be on celluloid. On the other hand, Chitrangda has been keeping mum about the project and the details of the film along with the director and the cast is yet to be finalized. However, from what we hear, Chitrangda will surely not be facing the camera for this film. Sandeep Singh is the former captain of the Indian hockey team and has seen his share of struggles as he was on wheelchair for two years fighting for his life. Currently he has recovered completely and has rejoined the team.
As far as her acting career is concerned, she will be seen along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the upcoming film Babumoshai Bandookbaaz. The film is produced by Kiran Shyam Shroff and Ashmith Kunder and it is to be directed by Kushan Nandy.
